OEM Sales for Heavy-Duty Trucking
Overview
CCTY is seeking a mechanical engineer to grow OEM sales within the heavy-duty trucking sector. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience selling into heavy-duty truck OEMs and understands the technical and commercial dynamics of chassis and drivetrain components.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with heavy-duty truck OEM customers
- Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within assigned accounts
- Act as the engineering point of contact for customers, supporting product selection and application engineering
- Lead RFQ/RFI processes, including cost estimation, proposal development, and contract negotiation
- Collaborate with internal engineering and manufacturing to ensure successful product launches
- Support prototype development, validation, and production
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders
- Travel to customer sites as needed

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally
- Minimum 3 years of experience selling to heavy-duty trucking OEMs
- Strong understanding of chassis, steering, and drivetrain components
- Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Ability to establish relationships within major heavy-duty truck OEMs
- This is a full-time, in-office position
