OEM Sales for Heavy-Duty Trucking

Overview

CCTY is seeking a mechanical engineer to grow OEM sales within the heavy-duty trucking sector. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience selling into heavy-duty truck OEMs and understands the technical and commercial dynamics of chassis and drivetrain components.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with heavy-duty truck OEM customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within assigned accounts
  • Act as the engineering point of contact for customers, supporting product selection and application engineering
  • Lead RFQ/RFI processes, including cost estimation, proposal development, and contract negotiation
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and manufacturing to ensure successful product launches
  • Support prototype development, validation, and production
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Travel to customer sites as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must be willing to travel nationally and internationally
  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling to heavy-duty trucking OEMs
  • Strong understanding of chassis, steering, and drivetrain components
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with CAD software
  • Ability to establish relationships within major heavy-duty truck OEMs
  • This is a full-time, in-office position
