Marco Facagni is the Director of CCTY’s European market. While Marco began his career at CCTY as a sales manager, he quickly grew into the director role because of his strong background in bearing design, problem solving skills that use an engineering-first mindset and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
With CCTY’s expansion into high‑performance motorsport motion control, how has the sponsorship of Luca Link and his GT4 ADAC program influenced product development?
The sponsorship of Luca Link in the ADAC GT4 Germany championship brings CCTY closer to a real world of high-performance is motorsport.
Motorsport places extreme demands on precision, durability, and reliability, which provides valuable insights for product development. These conditions help accelerate learning cycles and support the refinement of motion control solutions. What do you enjoy most about working with engineers and customers on complex applications?
I really enjoy the problem-solving process. Complex applications require trust and transparency. Seeing a concept develop into a solution is very rewarding.
There’s also a great sense of shared success when a customer brings a product to market using something we helped design. Being able to see a car, truck, or motorcycle and know that a CCTY component is part of it makes the work feel tangible and meaningful.
Tells us about common engineering challenge you see from customers, and how CCTY helps to solve them.
A common challenge is balancing performance, space, weight, and cost within increasingly compact designs. CCTY addresses this by working closely with customers to develop tailored, integrated solutions that meet multiple requirements at once. We reduce complexity and improve reliability by combining components into optimized assemblies.
Early collaboration also allows issues to be solved before they reach production.

Outside of work, what helps you recharge?
Family comes first. Spending quality time with them is the best way to relax and reset. I also enjoy being outdoors and playing soccer with friends, which helps me clear my mind and stay active. Combining fresh ai, and sports gives me the energy and focus to come back to work refreshed.
Interestingly, motorsport isn’t just work related it’s a personal passion as well.
